As a business and project management consultant in my ‘day job’, I get to manage various projects. One of my favourite projects is those that promote ‘environmental sustainability’, it’s good that in their own small way, there are bloggers out there who promote the ‘green’ way, that is, recycling old materials into creative works of art!
Iris says: Prima is having a “Go Green” feature over at the blog. We are trying to create projects from the packaging materials. Here is what I did with the Painterly Petals container. I loved that it came with a black and white printed backing paper so I used that for the background. Next, the flowers were held by a plastic container that was slightly lifted from the box. I used these as holders for my pictures. I just added some flowers and crystals.
As mentioned a few days ago, Mad Cropper is running a Random Act of Kindness Contest in conjunction with Eastman Kodak’s All-in-one printer to celebrate the start of its 4th year! Yay!
I was trolling through some of the scrapbook blogs that visit Mad Cropper and found this entry by Leia on Striving for Simplicity on how to save on foam adhesives. You don’t have to buy the custom-made foam adhesives but can create one yourself!
Yes, another room to get jealous about. Oh to have that kind of space (and the money) to create a room like this! Two thumbs up to Wookiemouse for having a scrap studio like this.
To celebrate our FIRST National Scrapbooking Day, we are hosting the BEST and BIGGEST Contest for all scrapbookers around the world!
Designed in the form of Project Runway style, this contest is certainly something worth participating. We have fabulous prizes lined up with sponsors like CK Media (publisher of the Creating Keepsakes magazine), Maya Road and Notions Marketing, to name a few, as well as prizes from us, the organizer!
Mad Cropper just celebrated its 3rd year in April. To welcome our 4th year, I am running a contest in conjunction with Eastman Kodak. The prize is amazing!
I shall be announcing the contest details and guidelines in the next few days so make sure you visit us here at Mad Cropper to find out how you can win!
